Continuing Education Policies & Procedures

The mission of Sensational Brain LLC is to provide research-based education and products to enhance sensory modulation in children and teens.


AOTA: Sensational Brain LLC is approved to provide online continuing education through AOTA’s Approved Provider Program (APP #8215), which is accepted by many state licensing boards and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy; however, we cannot guarantee acceptance by other certifying bodies at this time.

ASHA: Sensational Brain LLC is an ASHA Approved Continuing Education (CE) Provider. ASHA Approved CE Providers are the only organizations approved to offer continuing education courses for audiologists and speech-language pathologists for ASHA Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Other Professionals: All participants who satisfy the course completion requirements will receive a continuing education certificate showing course contact hours. Please check with your state or national licensing boards to verify continuing education requirements prior to course purchase.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina OTs and OTAs: Sensational Brain LLC is an approved CE provider for these state Boards of Occupational Therapy (CE Broker tracking number 50-20546). CEUs for approved courses will be uploaded to CE Broker weekly. The course code for approved courses can be found at the bottom of webinar description pages ( Your CEUs cannot be uploaded without your license information. Note: The Georgia Board of Occupational Therapy does not recognize our broadcasted distance learning format for live webinars.


To receive verification of continuing education for licensing purposes, the following requirements must be met:


Live Webinars

1. Record of attendance (recorded automatically by our system)
2. Successful completion of the post-test (≥ 70%)
3. Attestation statement verifying learning identity (included on post-test)

Live, In-Person, Seminars

1. Registration and payment.
2. Record of attendance on sign-in/sign-out page with signature times noted.
3. Active participation in group discussion and/or “Make-It, Take-It” project.

For live and recorded webinars, learning outcomes are assessed through the post-test. Post-test questions are based on learning outcomes listed in the course descriptions. For live in-person seminars, leaning outcomes are assessed on the course evaluation form.

The identity of participants must be established before reissuing CEU certificates. To request a replacement certificate, please email with the following information:

  • Your full name if you are not submitting your request from an email address that displays your name or your name has changed (e.g., email uses maiden name but certificate was issued using your married name)
  • Title of webinar completed
  • Approximate date of webinar post-test
  • Purchase receipts and post-test documentation, if available

A search is conducted on certificate archives for a certificate matching the information provided. Several scenarios are possible:

  • Certificate is found: The certificate is emailed to the participant.
  • Certificate is not found: A search is conducted for post-test results as applicable.
    • Post-test results found: The certificate is emailed to the participant.
    • Post-test results not found: A search is conducted to verify webinar purchase. Please note that payment information through third-party providers is only accessible for the prior 6 months.
      • Payment is found: An email is sent to the participant outlining search results. Webinar and post-test access information is provided. The participant is instructed to either (1) submit proof of post-test results or (2) review the webinar and retake the post-test.
      • Payment is not found: An email is sent to the participant outlining search results. The participant is instructed to submit proof of purchase. Once proof of purchase is received, webinar and post-test access information is provided.

Activity cancellation by Sensational Brain LLC: Training may be cancelled by Sensational Brain LLC if no more than 5 registrations have been received 24 hours prior to the training or if a speaker emergency necessitates cancellation. In the event of cancellation, refunds for the full amount paid will be issued within 24 hours of cancellation, and learners will be notified by email before the training start time. If available, a link to purchase the view-on-demand version of the webinar will be sent. Participants will be asked to reply to verify receipt of the email notification.

Activity cancellation by the learner: Learners may cancel their registration up until the start time of the training. Cancellation requests not received before the training begins will not be refunded, but the learner will be given access to the recording, if available.

In the event that Sensational Brain LLC needs to cancel a training because of inclement weather or for any other reason, all registrations will be fully refunded within 10 business days.

Cancellation requests must be received by email ( or phone (817-564-4564) at least 24 hours prior to the start time of the seminar to receive a full refund. Cancellation requests received less than 24 hours in advance will result in a credit voucher that can be used for live or recorded webinars or future live trainings offered by Sensational Brain LLC. Substitutions are permitted for live trainings at any time.

Full refunds will be given for registrants who experience technical difficulties or express dissatisfaction with the course at any time prior to completion of the post-test. Refund requests can be emailed to

Privacy and Security of Learner Records: Permanent records of learners are kept in the main office of Sensational Brain LLC and are also accessible to Sensational Brain LLC employees in the admin section of and These records are only viewable to Sensational Brain’s employees with access to the locked files or log-in information to the websites listed previously. Records are only made available to the learner or to other agencies upon written request by the learner.

Sensational Brain LLC will work to resolve all complaints made known on the course evaluation forms or directly to an employee of Sensational Brain LLC by email or phone. Any employee or course presenter who receives a complaint is expected to communicate the issue to Gwen Wild within 48 hours. Gwen Wild will determine the appropriate course of action and will provide a written or verbal response to either the participant who lodged the complaint or to the employee/contractor who received the complaint who will then be expected to pass on the response to the participant when appropriate. Complaints submitted through course evaluations will receive responses only when a determination is made that they are of such weight that further action is needed.

 Sensational Brain LLC’s employees and course presenters will demonstrate the highest level of professional conduct at all times to include timeliness, competence, and appropriate interactions with customers. Employees and course instructors will not discriminate against customers on the basis of gender, age, socioeconomic or ethnic background, sexual orientation, or disability.
