The Nervous System Reset: Practical Regulation Tools for Adults
In today’s fast-paced, overstimulating world, many adults are living in a constant state of dysregulation, impacting their focus, emotional control, sleep, and overall participation in daily life. This 90-minute course equips occupational therapy practitioners and other professionals with a clear, evidence-based understanding of the nervous system and practical tools to support regulation in adults through simple daily changes, movements and strategies.
Participants will learn how the nervous system, sensory processing, and retained primitive reflex patterns influence behavior, stress responses, and functional performance. This training goes beyond theory, providing actionable, occupation-based strategies that can be immediately implemented into clinical practice, home routines, and self-care. Participants will leave with a toolbox of techniques to support regulation, attention, and participation in all areas of life!
