Q&A: Best Sensory Needs Assessment/Checklist?

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have a handful of sensory needs assessments or checklists with you, what would you choose? I appreciate your time and knowledge.

Answer:

I would love to be stranded on a desert island for a couple of weeks without any assessments at all! But if I had to take a couple of them with me to treat the islanders, I would take a good, FREE sensory needs checklist, such as the one on my website, and the Sensory Processing Measure. Typically a good checklist is all you need to address modulation issues. If I want standardized results, I prefer the Sensory Processing Measure because it is easy to administer and score.
