Sensational Babies: Meeting Sensory Needs in Early Intervention

In this 2-hour webinar, participants gain essential skills in recognizing and treating sensory modulation issues in babies and toddlers. Gwen walks you through a simple process from assessment to intervention to take the guesswork out of addressing the activities of daily living in little ones from a sensory perspective. Learning Outcomes

  1. List signs and symptoms of sensory processing challenges in babies and toddlers.
  2. Identify assessment options for identification of sensory issues in the birth to three population.
  3. State the benefits of using visual support systems in meeting the sensory needs of young children.
  4. List activities to support babies and toddlers in their daily routines based on their sensory needs.
  5. Identify intervention strategies to support issues with sleep, feeding, bathing, dressing, social interactions, play, and motor skill development.
